New version of OKD missing openshift gitops-operator

I decided to reinstall my okd cluster and had some problems. In earlier versions there was a gitops-operator that made it easy to install argocd. With the new cluster the option was missing. The argocd-operator did not work. I had problems with argocd not having access to all things in different namespaces and not being able to sync applications.
